Founder and CEO of Lá Dental Aésthetique
Dr. Maisem Javaid (BDS) is the founder and CEO of Lá Dental Aésthetique and a general cosmetic dentist in Lahore. Alongside leading the clinic, Dr. Maisem treats patients every week, with a particular focus on cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers, as well as the everyday general dentistry that keeps families’ teeth healthy.
Dr. Maisem built Lá Dental Aésthetique around a belief that patients deserve to understand their treatment. Consultations are unhurried, options are explained with X-rays and photographs, and costs are agreed before anything begins.
Areas of focus
- Veneers and smile makeovers, planned around each patient’s face and shade.
- Laser teeth whitening after a careful check that whitening suits the teeth.
- Zirconia crowns and bridges that are strong and natural-looking.
- General dentistry: check-ups, tooth-coloured fillings and preventive care.
- Root canal treatment to relieve pain and save natural teeth.
Approach to cosmetic dentistry
A good cosmetic result is one that other people notice as a healthy, confident smile rather than as “dental work”. Dr. Maisem plans cosmetic treatment around the patient’s face, lips, skin tone and age, and starts with the least invasive option that will achieve the goal. Sometimes that is simply a professional clean and whitening; sometimes it is a combination of orthodontics, whitening and veneers, planned in the right order with the rest of the team.
In Dr. Maisem’s words
At our clinic, we believe that a healthy smile not only enhances your appearance but also boosts your overall well-being and confidence. It is my personal mission to ensure that every patient receives the finest dental care possible.
Leading the clinic
As CEO, Dr. Maisem has brought together a multispecialty team that includes an oral & maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Um E Rubab, and orthodontic care with Dr. M. Shariq Sohail, so that patients can receive general, cosmetic and specialist treatment in one place. Under Dr. Maisem’s leadership the clinic signed a memorandum of understanding with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), giving LCCI members and staff preferential rates on treatment.
Hygiene is a personal priority. Every instrument is sterilised between patients and treatment areas are disinfected after every appointment, standards that patients regularly mention in their reviews.
